The womens lot is a terrible one
Girls are available for sex, sometimes you find them standing on the roadside and they could even be carrying a baby.
Girls as young as 11 are often forced in to prostitution by their family and often fathers and brothers use them first.
Prostitution is illegal and punishments range from 5 to 15 years imprisonment. If a prostitute is married and many are, as they are forced by their husbands, they risk being stoned to death.
 Even under the Taliban rule prostitution and sex trafficking thrived.
Women from Iran, China and Tajikistan are imported for prostitution.
Children are often sold by their families to pay debts, or to bring in money to survive.
For a deeply religious country, if I was Afghan I would be more than deeply ashamed, at the way women are treated here, it is a disgusting disgrace.
The rising costs of food has caused an increase in prostitution and sex workers are increasing in numbers.
Do not add to the hardship and misery of these women.
If you have the money, give only the money and take only the pleasure of giving.
Today, the nightlife areas of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy provide strong ... Several upstairs bars still feature (technically illegal) sex ..
